#drawer/essay
we all came to the point where we wanted to schedule every thing in our day to make our day more efficient. it could be you wanted to make your life better, and turned into scheduling your work and life only to realize that it isn't smooth as you thought.
some people turned into something called tight scheduling.
lets first of all explain something:
tight scheduling is not something new. the entire point of it is to block your day to tiny parts, to make it easier to work with it, resulting in more efficient and more robust work flow. but the true is, as I'm going to explain, is not true at all.
most people me including came to tight scheduling to solve procrastinating and to make yourself work more. the only problem is that tight scheduling never been invented to solve this problem, and the people that tell you to use it, either never tried it or don't have procrastinating problem.
tight scheduling is and all ways going to be a type of scheduling that take form in tighter blocks of the day. but it is meant for something else:
work flow, it is helping the user to see what missions are going to be next and what mission all ready done. this could be help full in team project but also to keep track on diffrent projects in diffrent circles in the user life: work, family, school, personal, without losing track or having to give up on some project.
a good schedule and tight schedule and especially more need to be fluid; can be rearrange faster with out hurting the user schedule and only benefiting it, meaning: every night before sleep you look up you previse day and plan the next day and manage it to fit your project you done all ready, your unmovable event, and off curse to fit and help your dead line. this way, even if something bad happens yesterday, the schedule will be all ways up to the most important missions of this day. this idea can also be done in the form of daily journal; morning open with easy schedule following by noon fix of it and saying what went wrong and in the night before sleep, you revise and learn.
the real question is how not if you need, all humans keep schedule and tack of events, its just that some people are not following it. we sleep in our knowing time we eat at same time and work and hang out the same time. without knowing it we scheduling our life.
it is on the other hand very important to understand how much we want to schedule and how much tightening it up. for most people, understandable and easy hourly time stamps are enough.
it is more impotent to keep track over our missions then it is about our time. but... definitely the combination of mission tracking plume knowing how to scheduling it , make the perfect tool for management.
